Senior Team Fundraising

Our Team Sask Senior Teams are fundraising to help with the costs associated with playing in Water Polo Canada's Senior National Championship League, also known as Major League Water Polo (MLWP).

By contributing to their fundraising, you are enabling elite Saskatchewan athletes to pursue water polo at the highest level without facing a financial barrier. When water polo athletes age out of the youth programs in Saskatchewan, they are forced to turn to out-of-province opportunities that provide financial support to continue their sports career at a high level, all while incurring high university and living costs. Your contribution helps our athletes to stay in Saskatchewan and play with our organization, raising both the competition and training levels within our province while eliminating a significant financial barrier.

We are one of the top organizations in Canada and continue to grow every year, pushing the organization to find new funding opportunities.

Water Polo Saskatchewan develops elite athletes who train and compete at the highest level within our province, our country, and internationally. Team Sask has won several national championships across multiple age groups in the National Championship League, including our recent victory at the Senior Women's National Championships in 2022 (photographed above). We have also earned national recognition for our developmental programs and have been designated as Regional Development Centre by WPC, meaning we are able to train National Team athletes.
