MAP Grant | The purpose of the Membership Assistance Program (MAP) is to enable Water Polo Saskatchewan to allocate funds directly to the registered clubs, leagues and other affiliated members; to increase the number of participants and quality of sport development in Saskatchewan communities. MAP funds are to be used to support community and club-level water polo development. More information can be found here in section 13.0. Eligibility:

Promotion and Marketing Grant | Every year WPS is offering $10k to share between clubs for the marketing and promotion of water polo in their city/town. Term of Reference for the Promotion & Marketing WG is here (starting page 40). Eligibility: Clubs must be part of the working group that meets 2-3 times per year. Club Assistance Program (CAP) Funding | The purpose of the CAP is to provide financial assistance and service support to clubs, Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO), and other organizations at the discretion of Water Polo Canada (WPC) towards their already existing grassroots and educational initiatives and springboard the development of new initiatives. The CAP will focus solely in the following areas of domestic activities:

Sask Sport - Funding for Sport Groups | Funding is primarily channeled through eligible Provincial Sport Organizations and multi-sport/service groups that are members of Sask Sport. These funds assist member organizations with their operations. This includes co-ordinating sport activities and distributing funds to clubs, teams and athletes in communities throughout the province. Provincial Sport Organizations also provide governance, professional guidance, ensure safety, provide insurance, set rules, raise funds, acquire sponsorship and train athletes, coaches and officials.
