Spring Provincials

Water Polo Sask is excited for the 2023 Spring Provincials in Saskatoon this weekend!

Please read through the following tournament notes, as we had to make a few adjustments to the event to make sure it runs smoothly:

1. Not enough Atom Girls entered to have their own division, so we have mixed them in with the Bantam Girls. The Bantam/Atom Girls will play 4 x 4min and 6-on-6 to adapt to the smaller rosters and younger athletes.
2. There were also not enough Minis entered in the no-belt division to keep the 2 separate. Therefore, they will play together in one Mini division.
3. The divisions will be as follows:
   1. Mini: 1 division - Mixed Gender and Belt/No Belt
   2. Atom: 1 division - Boys (Girls added to Bantam)
   3. Bantam: 2 divisions - Boys & Girls
   4. Open: 2 divisions - Women & Men
4. In priority, athletes were placed in their own age group and then added to rosters in higher divisions if needed for numbers in their club teams.
5. WPS has added Team Sask teams from a lower division to compete in the Open Men, Open Women, and Bantam Boys divisions. 
6. Access to the Shaw Centre at 7:30 AM Sunday morning. If you arrive earlier, the doors will not be open.
